2. Investment Promotion Dept.
Responsible for collecting, processing, preparing and analysis of both domestic and oversea investment related information; Establish wide relationships with enterprises, commercial organizations and other agencies to collect their investment plan and trends; Survey on investment projects; Compile catalogues guiding foreign investment and pamphlets promoting local investment climate; Promote the local investment environment via various activities of promotions, exhibition and promulgation; ; Assist the relevant exhibition affairs; Participate or organize the domestic and oversea investment promotion activities; Play a part in organizing local foreign invested enterprises to participate in various exhibitions and purchasing meetings, help them develop the domestic market and show the good products made in Dongguan; Assist related municipality departments to establish the oversea work stations and offices including the work of site selection, setting up and management; Provide related investigation report on market performance, products and project details required by domestic and/or foreign investors; Setting up the website for thepurpose of online introduction of Dongguan investment environment and interactive communication with foreign investors, and find out the suitable agents for introducing the foreign investment to Dongguan.

Pool the policies and regulations on foreign direct investment in support DGFIPC’s of business development ;; offering consulting servicesregarding investment policies and regulations for both domestic and international clients; Helpthe investors to prepare the required investment documents, to proceed the application work for the individual investment project and to accomplish the registration,extension, alteration and cancellation of foreign representative office; provide assistance to newly set-up large-scale enterprises on project applications, factory building, trial production and all the necessary follow-up services; provide consulting services to the large-scale enterprises in Dongguan and coordinate the relationship between the enterprises and the municipal departments.
